Removable braces are very popular because lots of patients like the fact that they have the option to remove the brace, rather than being stuck with fixed braces for a long period of time. Our most popular removable braces include Invisalign, Clearstep and Perfect Clear, all of which offer extremely discreet treatment, as well as flexibility and comfort.
Invisalign, Clearstep and Perfect Clear are all invisible aligner systems, which use a series of bespoke clear plastic aligners to move the teeth; the aligners are removable but they must be worn for a minimum amount of time per day to ensure optimum results.
Benefits of removable braces
One of the most important benefits of removable braces for patients is that they are able to take their braces out to eat and drink; this means that they can eat what they like and eat and drink without worrying about damaging their brace or getting food trapped.
Braces can also be taken out to brush the teeth, which means that you can brush thoroughly without having to navigate the brush around your braces or use specially designed brushes; this promotes good oral hygiene and reduces the risk of gum disease and decay, as well as staining.
