Do you dream of a radiant smile that will light up the room? If you’re hoping for a sensational summer smile, Lumineers veneers could be just the ticket.
What are Lumineers and why are they so special?
Lumineers are lightweight veneers, which are made from a patented ceramic material known as Cerinate porcelain. Although Lumineers are incredibly thin and light, they are also very strong and they can usually last up to 20 years.
Veneers are a very versatile treatment and they really are capable of transforming the look of your smile. Even if you have worn, chipped or stained teeth, you can enjoy a stunning, natural looking new smile with Lumineers. Lumineers can also be used to hide gaps between the teeth and offer an alternative to braces if the teeth are slightly misaligned.
Lumineers are different to standard porcelain veneers because they are lighter, but they are also stronger. As Lumineers are so thin, minimal tooth preparation is required before the veneers are fitted, and this means that the tooth structure can be preserved. Lumineers also last longer than most other types of veneer.
How long does Lumineer treatment take?
We are usually able to complete Lumineer treatment in just 2 sessions which usually take place 2-3 weeks apart. During the first session, we’ll plan your treatment and create impressions of your teeth. We’ll also talk to you about the treatment in more detail, and of course, we’ll be happy to answer any questions.
