What is Botox?
Botox (botulinum toxin type A) is an extremely popular anti-ageing treatment that softens and smooths the complexion by limiting the movement of the facial muscles. We use a fine needle to inject Botox into the skin and can be used on several facial areas, such as:
- Cheeks
- Forehead
- Around the eyes
- Around the nose
- Around the corners of the mouth
Botox is used to effectively treat laughter lines, crow’s feet, frown lines and lines around the mouth. It helps to soften and smooth the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and creating a younger, fresher look whilst still maintaining your glorious natural beauty.
How does it work?
Botox restricts the muscles in the face from moving, helping to reduce the visibility of lines and wrinkles.
The treatment procedure
Before the procedure begins we will have a chat with you about which areas you’d like to treat. Botox treatment usually takes between 10 and 20 minutes and you will be able to get straight back to your daily business afterwards. The needle is simple inserted into the areas you’ve highlighted to us and the Botox is injected.
Botox results usually last for 3-6 months and we welcome you back to Liverpool Dental Spa for a top up to prolong the stunning effects.
